CCS Community Network

The CCS Community Network is a collective of over 900 engineering, technological, natural, environmental, social and economic members with CCS interests.

Network members span academia, industry, governmental and NGO sectors, and they all contribute to this diverse and vibrant community.

The Network was initially funded in 2009 by a £1 million grant from Research Councils UK Energy Programme to rapidly expand CCS research in the UK and to provide an open forum for sharing information and ideas in this growing area. The network is now part of and run by the UK CCS Research Centre, which was established in April 2012 with support from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) as part of the Research Councils UK Energy Programme, with additional funding from the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC).

The network facilitates knowledge exchange within this dynamic and stimulating R&D community and is accessible to anyone interested in contributing to research and innovation in CCS, including both early career researchers and established academics and CCS professionals from any country.

Members will receive periodic emails with information regarding upcoming CCS news and events.
